He was against all odds- he was supposed to die within six months but lived twenty-nine months. He lived long enough to show his family what it meant to accentuate the positive. This article describes how one woman, his daughter, decides to change the forecast for herself. She decides to steer away from negative thoughts in order to be happy. This article describes ways to not focus on negative thoughts. These ways include: laughing, counting blessings, playing to your strengths and doing good for others. This article explores how to create happy emotions.
Chapter nine deals with emotions. Emotions are a feeling that we get from a certain physical arousal. The chapter discusses Charles Darwin. Darwin felt that when emotions are expressed freely on the face, the emotion itself intensifies. This means that if you smile more then the happier you will be. The article about finding your happiness describes ways to be happier. One way that the article discuses is laughing. This information goes hand in hand with Charles Darwin's thought of smile and you will feel better.
